Gary L Ruesch

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday. Flowers and memorials may be given at the funeral home.
Gary was born on January 17, 1955 in Kenosha, Wisconsin and raised in Zion, Illinois, the son of Harold and Betty (Corder) Ruesch. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University and was a geologist. Gary co-founded and was vice president of Ruesch Oil, Inc. He was a member of the Illinois Oil and Gas Association and the Lake Shelbyville Muskie Club.
Surviving are his three children, Rachel Ruesch, Philip Ruesch and Sarah Ruesch all of Olney, Illinois; parents, Harold and Betty Ruesch of Zion, Illinois; siblings, Carolyn Schrader (George) of Aurora, Illinois, twin Gerry Rendall (Gary) of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois and Walter Ruesch (Debra) of Champaign, Illinois; and eight nieces and nephews.
