Geneieve Jean Navis, 83, of Mode, IL passed away Friday morning, February 5, 2021 in her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastor E. Wade Helmkamp officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL.

Geneieve was born on December 3, 1937 in Mode, IL, the daughter of Aubrey Clarence and Wilma Ina (Roley) Grove.  She attended Stewardson-Strasburg High School.  Geneieve married Adam Schultz and they had seven children. Geneieve was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg and a life member of VFW Auxiliary in Shelbyville.  She enjoyed crocheting and taking photographs.  She later married Roy D. Navis on January 27, 1991.  He died on April 14, 2007.

She is survived by her daughters, Penny Auburn (Gary) of Shelbyville, Susan Harris of Mode and Tina Wade (Dennis) of Shelbyville; sons, Troy Schultz of Watson, Tony Schultz (Sara) of Shelbyville, Tommy Schultz of Shelbyville and Stacy Schultz of Findlay; brother, Junior Grove (Cheryl) of Blue Mound; grandchildren, Justin (Amy), Tina (Jamie), Andee, Sam, Hollie, Ragan, Crosby, Sayne, Maycen, and Paxton; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; son-in-law Henry Thomas Harris; sisters, Delores Shaw and Ruth Hoyer; and brothers, Lester, Lionel, and Bill Grove.
