Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2012 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL with Rev. Steven Becker officiating. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to The Lutheran Hour or donor’s choice.
Glenn was born on February 16, 1921 in rural Strasburg, IL, the son of Edward Carl and Odelia Amalia Rincker Buesking. He farmed in the Strasburg area until his retirement. Glenn was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL.
He is survived by his sister, Rosadelle Nalefski and husband Norman of Normal, IL; sister-in-law, Geneva Buesking of Strasburg, IL; nieces and nephews, Sharon Tate and husband Donald of Stewardson, IL, Dennis Buesking and wife Mary Ellen of Danville, IL, Steven Nalefski and wife Diane of Bloomington, IL and Cheryl Pflueger and husband Burton of Brookings, SD; and nine great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenneth Dale Buesking.
