Gloria J Davis

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 at Wright Cemetery near Findlay, IL with Mitch Ramey officiating. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Memorial Sunken Garden and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
Gloria was born on March 6, 1941 in Shelby County, IL, the daughter of Cecil F. and Julia M. (Ripley) Banks. She attended Findlay High School. Gloria was affiliated with the First Christian Church in Findlay, and was a member of the Shelbyville Garden Club and the Westervelt-Ridge Unit of Home Extension. She married Amos Davis on September 1, 1957. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2019.
Gloria is survived by her children, Bob (Tracy) Davis of Gallatin, TN, Randy Davis of Robinson, IL, Suzanne (Roger) Shaw of Shelbyville, IL, and Rodney (Rita) Davis of Pleasant Plains, IL; brothers, Kenneth Banks (Gwen) of Milwaukee, WI and Larry Banks (Gayle) of Fremont, CA; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Amos; two grandchildren; step-father, Barney Clutter; and step-sister, Diana Clutter.
