Harold Joseph “Joe” Donaldson, 62, of Shelbyville, IL passed away at 3:06 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the Bluff Addition of Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Jared  Bouton officiating.  Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.  Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.

Joe was born on January 23, 1959 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Donald Joseph and Pearl Helen (Whitehead) Donaldson.  He attended Pana High School.  Joe enjoyed going to rummage sales, walking and listening to Elvis songs.  He was a quiet man who loved caring for his family.

He is survived by his sisters, June Donaldson and Ann Conlin both of Shelbyville; his former brother-in-law, Mark Conlin of Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elvin, Donnie and David Donaldson; sister, Mary Goodrich; and one nephew.
