At Peg’s request, a private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon, IL with Rev. Lynette DeAtley officiating. Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville is in charge of arrangements.
Peg was born on February 4, 1927 in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of John A. and Minnie Bickers Curnutt. She married Edwin Kimmel on February 14, 1951. He died on December 1, 2005.
She is survived by three nephews, Richard Johnson of Effingham, IL, Ronnie Johnson of Lafayette, IN and Randy Johnson of Marion, IL; and a number of great nieces and nephews and very good friends.
Peg was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin; brothers, Jim, John and Russell Curnutt; and sisters, Millie Leslie and Susie Johnson.
