Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL with Rev. E. Wade Helmkamp officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2018 and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, both in the church. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL, Grace Cemetery, Strasburg, IL or Heartland Christian Village, Neoga, IL. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL.
Helen was born on September 6, 1935 in Effingham County, IL, the daughter of William H. and Ellen (Wilson) Durre. She graduated from Altamont High School in the Class of 1952. Helen was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Strasburg, IL. She married Ralph Schultz on July 10, 1955.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph; twin sons, Terry Schultz and wife Chris of Strasburg, IL and Gary Schultz and wife Cheryl of Strasburg, IL; sister, Zelma White of Minneapolis, MN; eight grandchildren, Scott Dobbs, Jennifer Sanchez (Justin), Clint Schultz, Calvin Schultz (Michelle), Christopher Senteney, Jason Staszak (Jenny), Cory Schultz and Elijah Schultz; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gale Durre; sisters, Wanda Winnings and Avanelle Durre; and great grandson, Sterling Schultz.
