Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Gary Crowder officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Saturday. Casual attire is requested. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Food Pantry at the First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville, IL.
Howard was born on October 20, 1952 in Mattoon, IL. He is the son of Aubrey Ross and Mary Elizabeth (Shaffer) Walden. He graduated from high school in Centralia, MO. Howard was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He attended the Janesville Wesleyan Church. Howard was a very caring and loving person, who loved doing things for others.
He is survived by his wife, Nella; and several cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Barbara; and sister, Connie Sue Walden.
