Jacqueline A Mock
(October 02, 1954 – August 24, 2018)

Our family sadly lost Jacqueline Ann “Jackie” (Mueller) Mock, age 63 of Lerna, IL formerly of Mattoon, IL. She passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Mattoon, IL on Friday, August 24th, 2018 at 10:35 am.

Jackie was born to the late Gene and Joann (Williams) Mueller on October 2nd, 1954. She was an avid pet lover and a good Samaritan of the community. Her quick wit and infectious personality were a joy to all she was around. She was a dedicated employee for 40 years and 10 months for the Mattoon Community School District Unit #2. Jackie graduated from Shelbyville High School class of 1972.

She was a friend and silent partner to her son, Adam, for 36 years, 1 month and 3 weeks. She was above all a mother, a wife, a sister, a grandmother, a mother-in-law, an aunt, a friend, and a daughter. Those were the relationships she formed in her short time on this earth. She leaves this world with extraordinary style and grace. Losing her is tremendously painful, but remembering her brings smiles and joy.

Jackie is survived by son, Joseph “Adam” Mock, wife Kelsey, and their two children Jocelyn “Aria” Mock and Elizabeth Joann Titus, whom she adored, all of Mattoon, IL; brother, Larry Mueller (Cheryl) of Decatur, IL; niece Amy (Brian) Finley of Charleston, IL; niece, Angela Stephens of Shelbyville, IL; aunt, Frances Williams of Shelbyville, IL; and several great nieces and nephews Zach, Macayla, Rory, Tori, and Taetym. She is also survived by her significant other Noel Bayley; his son, Clayton Bayley (Isabella “Bella”); his daughter, Kathy Bayle; and his sister, Marilyn Bayley.
Jackie was a beautiful loving mother and grandmother.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
