Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2019 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019, in the funeral home. Casual attire is requested. Burial will be in Findlay Cemetery, Findlay, IL, with a meal to follow at Shelby Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Shelby Christian Church.
Jim was born on May 8, 1960, in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Roy and Anna Mae (Luthe) Williamson. He grew up in Findlay and attended Findlay High School. Jim was a Service Technician for EcoWater and Prairie Pure Water in Shelbyville for over 24 years. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of Indy and Stock Car Racing.
Jim is survived by his son, Calvin Royce Williamson of Charleston, IL; grandchildren, Kyler and Camron Williamson of Charleston, IL; siblings, Clifford (Linda) Williamson of Shelbyville, IL, Leota Bragg of Sullivan, IL, Raymond “Maynard” (Marla) Williamson of Shelbyville, IL, and Cheryl Williamson of Findlay, IL; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Connie Robinson of Sullivan, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Williamson and niece, Amy Lynne Williamson-Lutz.
