Jean A Brehmer

Private services will be held. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg, IL. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran School, Stewardson, IL. Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville is charge of the arrangements.
Jean was born on December 15, 1930, in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Leo and Ellen Arlene (Coyle) Scofield. She married Morris L. Brehmer on February 7, 1954. Jean enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting and gardening.
Jean is survived by her nieces and nephews, Doug Batchelor, Vicki Johnson, Gary Brehmer, Shary Yakey, Mike Batchelor, and Linda Batchelor; great nieces and nephews, Michelle Ellis, Jennifer Bible, Kathlyn Jones, Seth Brehmer, and Zed Brehmer; and sister-in-law, Marilyn (Brehmer) Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Brehmer on January 9, 1997; parents, Leo and Arlene Scofield; grandparents, Zeke and Audrie Coyle; and brother-in-law, Charles (Retha) Brehmer.
