Jeffrey D Thomas

A gathering of friends and family to include a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Grace Cemetery, Strasburg with Rev. Michael Mohr officiating. Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thomas was born on October 26, 1958 in Mattoon, the son of Irvin V. and Lorena Mae Bauer Thomas. He graduated from Cumberland High School in the Class of 1976. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a carpenter in construction.
Surviving are his four children, Darcie Thomas of Mattoon and Dustin E. Thomas, Jason E. Thomas and Jileena E. Thomas all of Villa Park; and sisters, Janet S. Deal of Winston, Oregon, Jayne A. Oyler of Charleston and Judy M. Brown of Farina.
He was preceded in death by his parents and will always be remembered for the laughter he brought others.
