Jennifer N Owens Frye

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Lee Lovett officiating. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to the Shelby County Relay for Life, Findlay Playground Fund or the Education Fund for Reiss Frye.

Jennifer was born on October 9, 1978 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Larry and Barbara Florey Owens. She graduated from Findlay High School in the Class of 1996 and later from Sparks Business College in Shelbyville. Jennifer worked for Dr. Agapito’s office as a medical transcriptionist. She enjoyed her 11 years in Shelby County 4-H and was a member of the Stitch-In-Time 4-H Club. Jennifer was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville.

She is survived by her daughter, Reiss Nicole Frye at home; Reiss’s father, Cory Frye of Shelbyville; parents, Larry and Barbara Owens of Bethany; sisters, Amanda Owens of Sullivan and Margaret Menacher and husband Jeremy of Philo, IL; maternal grandmother, Beverly Wood of Shelbyville; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Marita Owens of Shelbyville; great aunt, Joyce Matheny of Findlay; uncles, Lynn Owens and wife Cindy of Shelbyville, Raymond Owens and wife Debbie of Shelbyville and Robert Florey and wife Diane of Tower Hill; nephews, Addison Owens and Owen Menacher; and nieces, Isabelle Owens and Molly Owens.
