Joseph N Toll
(June 24, 1927 – August 31, 2008)
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in Cornerstone Community Fellowship in Shelbyville. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Mt. Hermon Amish Mennonite Church, Shelbyville.
Mr. Toll was born on June 24, 1927 in Harrisburg, Oregon, the son of Samuel Layton and Grace Clara Hostetler Toll. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. Joe owned and operated Toll Tree Service in Shelbyville for many years. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Amish Mennonite Church, Shelbyville. He married Fern Elizabeth Eigsti on January 4, 1950. She died on March 6, 2004.
Surviving are his son, Larry Toll of Tampa, Florida; daughters, Joleen Parkison and husband Leonard of Shelbyville and Linda Walbright and husband Mark of Shelbyville; sister, Elsie Jeanette Kropf of Halfway, Missouri; grandchildren, Jason Woods, Carmen Woods, Wendy Sims and Joshua Michael; and great grandchildren, Cohen Woods, Sidney Sims and Peyton Sims.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Fern.
