Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shelbyville, IL with Father Marianna Sathuluri as Celebrant assisted by Deacon John O’Brien. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Knights of Columbus Council #8690 of Shelbyville, IL.
Joyce was born on June 29, 1930 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Robert W. and Lucille Reed Neese. She worked in the kitchen for Shelby Memorial Hospital and later for Johnston’s IGA both in Shelbyville, IL. Joyce was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville, IL. She married LeRoy G. Lieb on December 27, 1947. He died on January 16, 2014.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Lieb of New Berlin, WI and Paul Lieb of Shelbyville, IL; daughter, Barbara Fischer and husband Douglas of Birchwood, WI; brother, David Neese of Davenport, IA; 17 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy; daughter-in-law, Cindy Lieb; four grandsons, Jonathan, Zachary, Joseph and Anthony Lieb; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Jean Pickett.
