Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastor Gary McCaslin officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Joyce was born on October 3, 1936 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Howard Raymond and Esther Mae Tobias Kelley. She graduated from Windsor High School in the Class of 1954 and Sparks Business College in Shelbyville. Joyce later earned her Associate Degree from the Business College at IUPUI in Indianapolis, IN. She was the Vice President of Trust and Estate Tax at SunTrust Bank in Orlando, FL.
She is survived by her son, Wes Burcham and wife June of Lancaster, CA; daughter, Kelly Brooks and husband Blake of New Palestine, IN; sister, Marilyn Goddard and husband John of Washburn, IL; and five grandchildren, Brian, Amanda and Cassandra Brooks, Kevin and Jessica Chenoweth, great-grandchild Lillian Shae Brooks and her faithful, canine service dog and companion Chico.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
