Julie A Ferguson

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Shelbyville with Rev. E. Wade Helmkamp officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL and one hour before services Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Assumption, IL. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association or Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Shelbyville, IL.
Julie was born on July 16, 1954 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of James Beverley and Helen Louise Renner Hudson. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1974. Julie was previously a Certified Nurse Assistant at Olivewood Health Care Center in Shelbyville for many years. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Shelbyville, IL. Julie enjoyed listening to live music with her Aunt Eva Roberts, watching her favorite soap opera “The Young and The Restless”, and collecting frogs, sunflowers, and movies.
She is survived by her sons, Joshua Ferguson and wife Megan of Decatur, IL and Dana Ferguson and fiancée Kathy Otto of Shelbyville, IL; daughter, Tara Hudson of Shelbyville, IL; brother, James Hudson, Jr. of Shelbyville, IL; and sisters, Denise Montgomery and husband Neil of Louisville, KY, Cara Montgomery and husband Mark of Shelbyville, IL and Linda Banning and husband Gary of Shelbyville, IL; six grandchildren, Jordan Hudson, Kylie Ferguson, Ethan Ferguson, Scarlett Ferguson, Ashton Westfall and Elijah Otto; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Jack Ferguson.
