Julie Ann Kneller , 60, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away Sunday morning, March 26, 2023 in her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2023 in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Casual attire is requested.  A family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville High School Drama Club.

Julie was born on March 19, 1963 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of John Dale and Janet Faye (Mathias) Knearem. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1981 and attended Sparks Business College in Shelbyville. Julie married David Michael “Mike” Kneller on December 30, 1989. Julie worked as a bookkeeper at Shelby County Community Services.  She also worked as a cashier at Walmart and most recently as a tax assessor for Okaw Twp. Julie cherished spending time with her grandchildren, being with her family, and caring for her beloved dog, Nikki.

Julie is survived by her husband, Mike; sons, Ryan (Lauren) Kneller of Shelbyville, IL, and Brett Kneller of Shelbyville, IL; three grandchildren, Collin, Kylie and Kade Kneller; brothers and sisters, John (Tracy) Knearem of Panacea, FL, Jodie Knearem of Shelbyville, Jess Mount of Pana, IL, Jerry (Jessica) Knearem of Shelbyville, Marlow (Charlie) Stephens of Shelbyville and Robert (Shelly) Mount of Shelbyville; mother-in-law, Shirley Kneller of Shelbyville, IL; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Knearem of Shelbyville, IL, Karen Kneller of The Villages, FL, and Linda Coventry of Shelbyville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Dale Knearem, Janet Faye Knearem Mount and J.D. Mount; father-in-law, Clarence Robert “Bob” Kneller; brother, Jim Knearem; sister-in-law, Tracy Mount; brother-in-law, Rodney Stephens; and nieces, Katherine Knearem and Brooke Knearem Coleman.
