Karin S Holland
(September 29, 1941 – August 27, 2009)
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2009 in the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to the First Church of the Nazarene Family Life Building Fund.
Karin was born on September 29, 1941 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Horace A. “Hice” and Velva Wallace Davis. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1959 and Sparks Business College in Shelbyville. Karin was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville. She married James E. Holland on June 12, 1960.
Surviving are her husband, Jim; daughter, Amy C. McDonald and husband Darrell of Shelbyville; son, Eric D. Holland and wife Amy of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Evan McDonald, Matthew McDonald, Jacob Holland, Josie Holland and Chase Holland; and great grandson, Brycen A. McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Carole Ann Davis.
