Katherine Louise McKittrick, 87, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 6:06 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Hawthorne Inn, Shelbyville, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Robert Turner officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville, IL or Quad County Hospice.

Katherine was born on January 26, 1932 in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Marion R. and Beulah (Luellen) Hall. She married Jerrold Dean McKittrick on December 25, 1951 in Mattoon, IL. Katherine was a homemaker and enjoyed the farm life with her husband until their retirement. She was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville for many years. Katherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Larry McKittrick and wife Leona and Kevin McKittrick all of Shelbyville, IL; daughter, Pam Miller and husband David of Shelbyville, IL; five grandchildren, Laura Yost and husband Jason of Clinton, IL, Jared McKittrick and wife Timeka of Decatur, IL, Lana Carter and husband Marcus of Decatur, IL, Darin Miller and wife Jennifer of Shelbyville, IL and Amy Yoder and husband Brandon of Shelbyville, IL; and nine great grandchildren, Kaylee and Kylie Yost, Jarrett and Kalli McKittrick, Zane and Cru Carter and Colton, Collin and Cyra Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerrold on April 24, 2003; brothers, John and Raymond Hall; and sisters, Evelyn Smith, Marilyn Brown and Carolyn Stranko.
