Keith Lyle Manship , 52, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away Monday evening, January 30, 2023 in HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital, Shelbyville, IL.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023 in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL, with Rev. Tim Yankee officiating. Visitation will be from noon – 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Casual attire is requested. Memorials may be given to Barnes Hospital – Transplant Center.

Keith was born on December 23, 1970 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Sherman D. and Ellen E. (Bly) Manship. He attended Shelbyville High School and was a member of the Class of 1989. He married Dana Lynn Tope on March 19, 1994. Keith worked in the warehouse at International Paper for many years and later worked at GSI in Assumption. He was currently employed at Ivy’s Gaming in Shelbyville, IL. Keith enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears, Fighting Illini and the Chicago Cubs. He was a member of Shelbyville VFW Auxiliary Post #4829 and Shelbyville Moose Lodge #1294. Keith loved spending time with his grandkids and doing what he could for his community.  His love for his family and friends was endless and unconditional.

Keith is survived by his wife, Dana; daughters, Haley Reid and husband James, Logan Manship and fiancé Joe Houk, and Abby Manship and fiancé Matt Furr all of Shelbyville, IL; son, Drake Manship of Shelbyville, IL; seven grandchildren, Wade Reid, Jace Reid, Addilyn Mahnke, Tate Furr, Reese Houk, Drake Houk, and Emmie Furr; mother, Ellen Colbert (Steve) of Shelbyville, IL; father, Bud Manship (Joyce) of Cowden, IL; sister, Christie Wilson (Ryan) of Shelbyville, IL; in-laws, Ed and Debbie Tope of Shelbyville, IL; brother-in-law, Shawn Tope (Beth) of Shelbyville, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sherman Manship and Wanda Wyrick; and maternal grandparents, Harold and Eileen Bly.
