Kelly J Strohl
(March 18, 1959 – September 03, 2017)
Born on March 18, 1959, in Decatur, IL, he was the son of Delores (Hill) Strohl and the late Dale L. Strohl. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1977. He received his associates degree in construction technologies from Parkland Community Tech.
Kelly was a draftsman with Vester & Associates for 21 years. He was a talented musician and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved working with his hands and was truly a gifted carpenter.
Surviving with his mother are his two children: David Strohl and Madelyn Strohl, both of Lafayette, IN and a brother: Michael Strohl (wife: Valerie) of Zionsville, IN.
The memorial visitation was from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Hippensteel Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life memorial tribute was held at 6 p.m. with Pastor Tom Camp officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL.
