Kenneth D Padgett
(March 13, 1945 – January 14, 2010)
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville with military rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the family.
Kenneth was born on March 13, 1945 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Ervil Kenneth and Dorothy Jane Atkinson Padgett. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1964. Kenneth was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was retired from Caterpillar in Decatur. He married Norma J. Gatton Endsley on September 6, 1973.
He leaves wife, Norma; daughter, Betty R. Reed (Danny) of Assumption; step-son, Clifford D. Endsley, Jr. (Laura) of Cowden; sisters, Melinda Spracklen and Barb Moreau; five granddaughters; two grandsons; and one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
