In keeping with Ken’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals or to the family.
Ken was born on October 3, 1959 in Champaign, IL, the son of Robert and Mary McLaughlin Jones. He was a graduate of Homer High School in the Class of 1977 and then served in the U. S. Army. Ken was a field service representative for GE Betz. He previously was the maintenance supervisor at Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville, IL and a salesman for Chemsearch/NCH Corporation of St. Louis, MO. He was a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge #53 of Shelbyville, IL and enjoyed fishing and bowling. Ken was always there to help anybody with anything at any time. He married Connie Brewer on September 20, 1986.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; brothers, Jeff Jones of Rosamond, IL, John Jones and wife Kim of Ramsey, IL and Scott Jones of Taylorville, IL; mother-in-law, Joyce Brewer of Shelbyville, IL; sisters-in-law, Teresa Harper and husband Eric of Aiken, SC and Penny Arthur and husband Jerry of Sullivan, IL; and several nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Rex Brewer.
