Kenneth H Smith

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Visitation from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to American Legion Post #105 in Decatur.
Kenneth was born on January 11, 1923 in Brownstown, IL, the son of Jessie F. and Leta M. (Smith) Smith. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of WW II. Kenneth worked at Brovermans in Shelbyville and later was a laborer in Decatur. He was a member of American Legion Post #105 in Decatur.
Surviving are his brothers, George Thomas Smith of Decatur and Robert Eugene Smith and wife Verna of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Huskey; and sister-in-law, Edith (Compton) Smith.
