Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. John Hippard officiating. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to the Shelby Memorial Hospital Third Floor Extended Care Unit Activity Fund, Shelbyville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Activity Fund, Shelby Humane Society or Donor’s Choice.
Mr. Shuff was born on September 15, 1910 in Shelby County, the son of Clay and Bessie Prosser Shuff. He was a lifelong farmer and an avid hunter and fisherman. Kenneth was a member of the Shelby County Farm Bureau, National Rifle Association, Civil Air Patrol, Woodmen of the World and a 50 year member of Moose Lodge #1294 of Shelbyville. He married Lenore Foor on September 21, 1931. She died on January 24, 1987.
Surviving are his sons, Kenny Shuff and wife Jeannie and Larry Shuff and wife Jody all of Shelbyville; daughters, Bert Davis of Decatur, Phyllis Campbell and husband Herb and Fran Smart all of Shelbyville; brothers, Burl Shuff and wife Dorothy of Shelbyville and Paul Shuff and wife Mildred of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lenore; brother, Morris Shuff; and son-in-law, Carl “Punk” Davis.
