Kenneth W. “Bun” Reynolds, 80, of Shelbyville, IL, died at 9:55 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 in Hawthorne Inn, Shelbyville, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Military Rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Memorials may be given to the Shelby County Honor Guard. Casual attire is requested.

Kenneth was born August 17, 1935 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of John Herbert and Margaret Helen Donaldson Reynolds. He attended Shelbyville High School and then served his country in the Army, including service as an MP for President Eisenhower. He began working for the C & EI Railroad. He later worked on oil rigs in various locations, Trailmobile in Charleston, IL and retired from Hydro-Gear in Sullivan, IL. He was a member of VFW Post #4829, Shelbyville, IL and a member of the Coon and Beagle Hunter’s Club in Shelbyville. He was an avid coon hunter and a die-hard fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Roger) Boarman of Shelbyville, IL and Debbie Reynolds of Mishawaka, IN; brothers, Larry Reynolds, Phillip “Chick” Reynolds, Alan (Brenda) Reynolds, and Michael “Moochie” Reynolds, all of Shelbyville; sister, Nancy (Bill) Robison of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Tony Stockdale and Kyle Stockdale, both of Mishawaka, IN and Matthew Pittman, Ryan Pittman, and Holli Boarman, all of Shelbyville, IL; great-grandchildren, Justin, Courtney, Jordan, AJ, Elizabeth and Joel Stockdale of Mishawaka, IN and Brooklyn and Bristol Pittman of Shelbyville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Phyllis Reynolds, and brothers, Jim “Rabbit” Reynolds and David “Shave” Reynolds.
