Keri Ann Holmes, 47, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2020 in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Kerry Campbell officiating. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.

Keri was born on August 24, 1973 in Arcadia, WI, the daughter of Ronald James and Debra Marie (Rumpel) Mahutga. She was a packer at International Paper in Shelbyville, IL for 17 years. Keri married Brian K. Holmes on February 22, 2005 and they enjoyed fishing and going to NASCAR races. She was raised in the Catholic faith.

Keri is survived by her husband, Brian; father, Ronald Mahutga (Theresa) of Arcadia, WI; mother, Debra Marie Mahutga of Arcadia, WI; sons, Brian W. Holmes of Shelbyville, IL, and Nathaniel and Michael Heffner both of WI; daughters, Brianna Heffner and Alexus Beck (Branden) all of WI; sister, Emily Abley (Tim) of Osseo, WI; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Patricia Holmes of Shelbyville, IL; sister-in-law, Chris Wachtel (Calvin) of Altamont, IL; brothers-in-law, Charles Holmes, Jr. (Barbara) of Lakewood, IL, Brad Holmes (Tina) of Shelbyville, IL, and Mark Holmes (Melanie) of Charlotte, NC; grandmother, Janice Rumpel of Arcadia, WI; five grandchildren, Brian S. Holmes, Hazel and Violet, and Arthur and Emilio; nieces, Holly, Laura, Amanda, Nikole, Megan and Hannah; nephews, Charles III, Jeremy, Bradley, Jr., Matthew and Connor; and beloved dog, Scout.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Everett and Marion Mahutga and John Rumpel.
