Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to the family.
Mr. Bly was born on March 29, 1951 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Lawrence W., Jr. and Winifred Josephine Reed Bly. He worked for International Paper in Shelbyville for 23 years until his retirement. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville.
Surviving are his daughters, Jennifer Hanson and husband James of Shelbyville, Missy Hudson and husband Kenny of Cowden and Tara L. Bly of Cowden; sisters, Marcia Prather and husband Bobby of Shelbyville, Carol Dilley and husband Gene of Shelbyville and Debbie Jacobs and husband Gary of St. Charles, MO; and four grandchildren, Clayton and Alexandrea Anderson, Kelcie Hudson and Paige.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Darrell Bly; and sister, Pamela Jo Carter.
