Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shelbyville, IL with Father Don Wolford as celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:45 a.m. Saturday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shelbyville, IL or the American Diabetes Association.
Lee was born on February 26, 1942 in Leipsic, OH, the son of Clarence and Blanche Cheney Fackler. He was an over the road truck driver until his retirement. Lee married Betty Jean Bero on November 6, 1971. They moved to Shelbyville, IL in 2007 from Granite City, IL. Lee was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville, IL.
He is survived by his daughters, Renee Lynn Hendrian of Dalton City, IL, Kim Stefanka of North Baltimore, OH, Tamara Dye of Toledo, OH and Candy Fackler of Custar, OH; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three sisters, Melba Hardy of Leipsic, OH, Sandy Carnahan of Ottawa, OH and Marguerite Danser of Lima, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty on December 29, 2013; and one brother in infancy.
