Lester F Musson
(February 22, 1938 – March 16, 2019)
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March, 20, 2019 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL, with Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. The family will gather from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home Shelbyville, IL.
Lester was born on February 22, 1938, in Effingham County, IL, the son of Chester Rufus and Minnie Helen (Brandt) Musson. He served in the National Guard and attended Lake Land College, in Mattoon, IL. Lester worked as a welder for 45 years, 17 years at Trailmobile in Charleston and later at Agri-Fab in Sullivan. Lester married Juanita L. Ray on July 7, 1986.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; son, Stacy Musson of Stewardson; daughter, Tenna Musson of Mattoon; step-son, Stanley Eugene Ray of Shelbyville; step-daughters Pam Freeze of Decatur, Thelma Adams of Shelbyville, Tammy Ray of Shelbyville, and Debbie Nugent of Cowden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tracy Musson; step-son, Gary Ray; brothers, George Musson, Elmer Musson, LeRoy Musson, Chester Musson, Edward Musson, Glenn Musson, and Robert Musson; and sisters, Thelma Reynolds and Beulah Houser.
