Linda A Collins
(February 12, 1955 – March 31, 2018)
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Shelby County Honor Guard.
Linda was born on February 12, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Herman and Harriett Erickson Unger. She was a homemaker while her children were at home and then worked in the deli at County Market in Shelbyville for many years. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, William “Bill” Collins, Jr. and wife Lindsay of Herrick, IL and Brian Collins and wife Kelsey of Shelbyville, IL; five grandchildren, Liam, Harper and Avery Collins of Herrick, IL and Knox and Ronin Collins of Shelbyville, IL; sisters, Fran Foley of Schaumburg, IL and Rose Cameron of Lake in the Woods, IL; and longtime boyfriend, Phil Eigenhauser of Chicago, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
