Linda D Nees

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastor Marilyn Dudley officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Shelbyville, IL or Shelby County Community Services.
Linda was born on March 18, 1955 in Shelbyville, IL the daughter of Carl “Farmer” and Edna Fern Wallace Nees. She worked for Shelby County Community Services for many years. Linda was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Shelbyville, IL.
She is survived by her sisters, Helen Nees of Kansas City, MO, Etta Keppler of Shelbyville, IL, Diana Tull and husband David of Herrick, IL and Wendy Hopkins and husband Bill of Mode, IL; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Billy Nees, Paul Nees, Charles Nees and Douglas Nees; and sisters, Phyllis Jarrell, Vickie Hawn, Marie Nees, Marta Joy Nees, Patricia Black, Melba Shelton, Sharon Rassmussen and Mary Gonzales.
