Linda R Wonderling
(October 25, 1942 – September 24, 2017)
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. E. Wade Helmkamp officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals.
Linda was born on October 25, 1942 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of LaVerne W. and Frances Marie (Harris) Krumwiede. She graduated from River Grove High School and worked for Woodhaven Lake near Rockford, IL and later for Merrill Lynch. She married Marvin Charles Wonderling and they were married for over 56 years. They moved to Shelbyville in 1998. Linda enjoyed fishing on Lake Shelbyville, camping, gardening and talking on the phone with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Charles H. (Mary Jo) Wonderling of Downers Grove, IL, Richard L. (Pam) Wonderling of Henderson, NV, Walter L. (Kim) Wonderling of Glendale, Heights, IL and Edgar Bosque of Aurora, IL; brothers, Berry Krumwiede of Fallbrook, CA and Hank (Sharon) Krumwiede of Brainerd, MN; sister-in-law, Penny Krumwiede of Pierce, CO; grandchildren, Sarah (Keoki) Merrell, Elizabeth (Phillip) Evitt, Angela Wonderling, Meghan Wonderling, Michael Wonderling, Sydney Wonderling and Patrick Brooks; and great grandchildren, Shawn Merrell, Marshall Wonderling and Theo Evitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and two brothers.
