Lloyd J Bly
(February 15, 1937 – March 18, 2009)
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2010 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating and military rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville is in charge of arrangements.
Lloyd was born on February 15, 1937 in Shelbyville, Illinois, the son of Delmar Charles and Minnie Mildred Johns Bly. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired construction worker.
Surviving are his son, Alan Bly of Shelbyville; daughter, Andrea Frazelle and husband Gary of Mt. Zion; brothers, Delmar “Bud” Bly and wife Marjorie of Shelbyville and Richard Bly of Houston, Texas; sister, Barbara Watkins of Shelbyville; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Tom Bly.
