Loretta “Rita” I Hedderich
(June 26, 1930 – May 04, 2012)
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Visitation from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana, IL. Memorials may be given to Gideon’s International.
Mrs. Hedderich was born on June 26, 1930 in Moweaqua, IL, the daughter of Warren James and Fern E. Reider Trainor. She was a graduate of Tower Hill High School and Brown Business College in St. Louis, MO. Rita worked for the Tower Hill Post Office for 17 years, before her retirement. She was a member of Knobs Baptist Church, Tower Hill, IL and Gideons International Auxiliary and was active with Child Evangelism Fellowship for many years. She married Fritz Hedderich on April 7, 1951.
She is survived by her husband, Fritz; son, Jim Hedderich of Pana, IL; daughter, Sheryl Fox of Springfield, IL; brothers, James Warren Trainor, Jr. and Charles Trainor and wife Wilma all of Tower Hill, IL; sister, Joyce Beck and husband Junior of Westervelt, IL; grandson, Jimmy Hedderich and wife Jenny of Shelbyville, IL; two great grandchildren Ava and Owen Hedderich both of Shelbyville, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Lois Shuff.
