Louise Price

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville with Al Taylor officiating. Visitation from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to South Second Street Church of Christ.
Mrs. Price was born on November 7, 1920 in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Homer and Clara E. Trotter Milner. Louise was an operator for the telephone company in Shelbyville for many years. She later was the secretary in the guidance office at Shelbyville High School for 20 years. She was a member of the South Second Street Church of Christ in Shelbyville. Louise enjoyed making cookies, pies and apple butter. She married Forrest B. Price in June 1943. He died on March 14, 2010.
Surviving are her son, Jack Price and wife Vida of Palmer; daughters, Sharon Day and husband Paul of Ellenton, FL and Nancy Taylor and husband Al of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Elaine Milner of Downers Grove, IL; five grandchildren; and one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Forrest; brothers, Harmon and Howard Milner; sisters, Ethel Chandler and Naomi Price; and brother-in-law, Maurice Price.
