Majean Ragan

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2007 in River Church, Warsaw, Missouri. Visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday in the church. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, near Shelbyville, Illinois. Family and friends may gather at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to River Church, Warsaw, Missouri.
Majean was born on January 28, 1935 in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Alton Jackson and Ruth Marie Fisher Jarrell. She was married to Terry Ragan on December 5, 1965. They lived in various cities and states and became permanent residents of Warsaw in 1989. She was first and foremost a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, bowling and golf. She never met a stranger and was a friend to all. She enjoyed life to its fullest and was known as the neighborhood morale booster. Majean attended River Church in Warsaw.
Surviving are her devoted husband, Terry; son, Robert Craig and wife Sally of Martinsville, Indiana; daughters, Brenda Frerichs and husband Dale of Clinton, Missouri and Carrie Grobl and husband Karl of San Diego, California; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Ray Jarrell of Wichita Falls, Texas and Alton Paul Jarrell of Warsaw, Missouri; and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Heidi Rottler.
