Marcella Skees
(January 18, 1911 – October 25, 2013)
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Chaplain Tim Haworth officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Shelby County Community Services.
Marcella was born on January 18, 1911, the daughter of William and Nellie Smott Skees. She was a longtime resident of Shelbyville. Marcella loved the color pink, oatmeal, quilts and listening to “Nora Roberts” books on tape. She was dearly loved by those who cared for her and she loved them in return.
She is survived by her many friends.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
