Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Bob Turner officiating. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Findlay Cemetery, Findlay, IL. Memorials may be given to the Shelby Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Marie was born on October 4, 1916 in Lakewood, IL, the daughter of Guy Jasper and Nita Leach Cutler. She was a cook in several area restaurants and later worked in the laundry department at the Shelbyville Restorium. Marie enjoyed sewing, quilt making, crafts and word search books.
Surviving are her daughter, Coleen Cox and husband Robert of Findlay; sons, Dale Edward Glick of Vina, AL, Richard Glick and wife Sherrill of Lawndale, IL, Robert Glick and wife Joan of Fallbrook, CA and Guy Roger “Butch” Glick of Lincoln, IL; sisters, Imogene Barger, Wilna Moore and Shirley Everett and husband Jim all of Shelbyville, Melba Mathias and husband William J. of Wytheville, Virginia and Patsy Trelz of Sparta, TN; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Wanda Adrian and one in infancy; brothers, Bunny and Clayson Cutler; and sisters, Pauline Phelps, Beverly Thompson Kingston, Guyula Kimmel Jones and Waynoka Hott.
