Marilyn A Cichalewski

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville, IL with Father Marianna Sathuluri as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Monday in the church. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in Holy Childhood of Jesus Christ Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL. Memorials may be given to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.
Marilyn was born on May 25, 1944 in Breese, IL, the daughter of Walter Henry and Rosalia “Sally” (Lampe) Eversgerd. She graduated from Mascoutah High School in the Class of 1962 and later earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education from Eastern Illinois University. She was a teacher in Shelbyville for 34 years. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Retired Teachers Association, and the Dominican Associates. Marilyn married Andy Cichalewski on May 26, 1966.
She is survived by her husband, Andy of Shelbyville; daughters, Cathy Lively (Matt) of Murfreesboro, TN, Lisa Haycraft (James) of Ridgecrest, CA, and Julie Jaramillo (Juan) of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Sydney and Kendall Lively, Suzanne, Collin and Phillip Haycraft, and Sebastian Jaramillo; and brother, LeRoy Eversgerd (Kay) of Lemont, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sally Eversgerd.
