Marjorie Jane Macari , 85, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Villas of Holly Brook, Shelbyville, IL.

Private family graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Knobs Cemetery, near Tower Hill, IL with Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Quad County Hospice and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 North Broadway, Shelbyville, IL.

Marjorie was born on February 24, 1935 in Newark, OH. She graduated in Illinois from Royalton High School in the Class of 1952.  Marjorie married Jim J. Macari on April 5, 1953 in Newark, OH. She enjoyed sewing, decorating, and teaching bible studies. Marjorie was also a member of the Christian Women’s Club.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Sandi (Perry) Bradford of Williams Bay, WI; sons, Randy (Martha) Macari of Shelbyville, IL, and Andy (Krista) Macari of Shelbyville, IL; two brothers, Jim Meisenhelder of Ohio and John Clatterbaugh of Virginia; five sisters, Rita Stradley of Kansas, Kathy Garrett of Ohio, Lucille Mays of Virginia, Margaret Eubank of Virginia and Ruth Smith of South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Jordan (Kelsey) Bradford, Jameson (Bethany) Bradford, and Jessica (Joel) Molitor, all of Wisconsin, Abby Macari of Indiana, Jared (Allyssa) Macari of Bourbonnais, IL, and Adam, Alex and Anna Macari, all of Shelbyville, IL; and eight great grandchildren, Emma Bradford, Ella Bradford, Blake Bradford, Turner Bradford, William Molitor, Nessa Molitor, Amelia Molitor, and Aubree Macari.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Velma (Chism) Meisenhelder; two brothers, Bob and Dave Meisenhelder; and two sisters, Jean Lamp and Clara Keller.
