Mary Anne Lowe

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville with Father Don Wolford officiating. Visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shelbyville.
Mrs. Lowe was born on July 26, 1929 in Shelby County, Illinois, the daughter of Harmon Alfred and Elizabeth Gregory Feddersen. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1948. Mary Ann began working as a telephone operator in Shelbyville and later became a nurse’s aid at Shelby County Memorial Hospital, Activity Director at Olivewood Nursing Home and provided home health care all in Shelbyville. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Shelbyville. She married Leon Lowe on October 4, 1952.
Surviving are her husband, Leon; sons, Charles Lowe and Matthew Lowe both of Shelbyville, IL; daughters, Anne Estelle Shull and husband Richard of Edwardsville, IL and Mary E. Lowe of Jackson, TN; granddaughters, Heather Shull of Edwardsville, IL and Amanda Bueker and husband Ron of Hamel, IL; and great granddaughter, Mary Ellen Bueker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bernard and Dudley Feddersen.
