Mary Jane McDonald

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Ronald Brown officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the services. Burial will be later in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorials may be given to Lighthouse Tabernacle, Lakewood, IL.
Mary Jane was born on November 22, 1924 in Radford, IL, the daughter of Harry and Amanda M. Silvis Stivers. She attended school in Moweaqua, IL. She was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle, Lakewood, IL. She married Howard Bear on December 13, 1941. He died on April 19, 1970. She married Herb McDonald on July 25, 1970. He died on May 24, 1982.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Hudson and husband Kerry of Shelbyville, IL; son, Michael Bear and wife Robin of Findlay, IL; grandchildren, Corey Hudson and wife Kasey, Andrew Hudson, Sara Bear Mills and husband Jake, Joshua Bear and Elijah Bear; great grandchildren, Raeleigh and Cash Mills; sister, Bonnie Kaigley of Decatur, IL; and sister-in-law, Dottie Stivers of Shelbyville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Bear and Herb McDonald; six brothers; and six sisters.
