Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Brother Gene Janes, Brother Ed Waggle and Brother Jim Gambill officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Zoar Primitive Baptist Cemetery, near Mattoon, IL. Memorials may be given to Zoar Primitive Baptist Church, near Mattoon, IL.
Mary was born on February 5, 1935 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Virgil and Dollie Doris Johnson Winings. She graduated from Findlay High School. She married Arthur Lee Bricker on January 15, 1956. Mary was a homemaker and a cook at the Findlay Schools. She loved cooking, gardening and caring for her birds. Mary was a member of the Zoar Primitive Baptist Church, near Mattoon, IL.
She is survived by her children, Doris Eversole and husband Ron of Shelbyville, IL, Gale Bricker and wife Angie of Findlay, IL, Bernice Spellman and husband Tim of Findlay, IL and Lyle Bricker and wife Michelle of Shelbyville, IL; brothers, Rich Winings of out of state, LeRoy Winings of Bethany, IL and Rob Winings of Bethany, IL; grandchildren, Thomas Eversole (Kaytlyn), Bradley Eversole (Nicole), Amy Sumila (Bryan), Alex Bricker (Amber), Grant Bricker, Chad Spellman, Brett Spellman (Stephanie), Tiffany Cotner (Shaun), Miranda Bricker and Brittany Bricker; and great grandchildren, Audrey, Max, Adam, Addison, Brynn, Willow, Parker, Easton, Gunner and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Art Bricker on December 1, 1977.
