A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 in the First Christian Church of Shelbyville with Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday in the church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Shelbyville or the family. Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville is in charge of the arrangements.
Megan was born on April 9, 1987 in Mattoon, IL the daughter of Calvin Robert and Ruby Ann (Lidster) York. She graduated from Shelbyville High School the Class of 2005. Megan worked in the deli at Walmart in Shelbyville for many years and enjoyed cross-stich sewing.
She is survived by her brother, Andrew York of Charleston, IL; half-sister, Nikki Green of Quincy, IL: son, Gage Cole of Windsor, IL; step-mother, Cheryl York of Terre Haute, IN; and fiancé, George Jensen of Springfield, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert York; mother, Ruby York; and half-sister, Neely Stivers.
