Michael A Kessel

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Father Don Wolford officiating. A gathering for family and friends will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville.
Mr. Kessel was born on July 23, 1950 in Shelbyville, the son of Walter F. and Colette Brumleve Kessel. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1968. He moved to the Punta Gorda area 26 years ago from Wauconda, IL. He worked as a plant planning supervisor for the county school system. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda, FL. He married Victoria A. Mose on June 5, 1971.
Surviving are his wife, Vicky; daughters, Sarah E. (John) Ferrara of Dallas, GA and Amy M. (Peter) Norman of Tampa, FL; brother, Steve (Lane) Kessel of Zionsville, IN; sister, Myra (Ted) Sanders of La Grange Park, IL; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
