Mildred Boden

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Shelbyville.
Mrs. Boden was born on December 6, 1920 in Paradise Twp. of Coles Co., IL, the daughter of John Morgan and Myrtle Winnings Hart. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville and a 50 year member of Women of the Moose #1325 of Shelbyville. Millie married Vallie D. Boden on August 7, 1943. He died on January 28, 1982.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Walden (Marilyn) of Shelbyville; daughter, Sharon Harper (James) of Decatur; brother, Morgan Hart of Mattoon; brother-in-law, Howard Stevens of Greenup; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vallie; one brother; two sisters and one grandchild.
