Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shelbyville, IL with Father Don Wolford and Father Pawel Augustyniak as concelebrants. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shelbyville, IL and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
Nancy was born on May 5, 1947 in Defiance, OH, the daughter of Olan and Helen Elizabeth Boehm Thrasher. She graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in Decatur, IL and attended Illinois State University. Nancy was a secretary for Kemper Insurance in Decatur, IL and co-owner of G & N General Contractors in Tower Hill, IL. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville. Nancy was an avid seamstress and enjoyed caring for her many animals. She married Gary Gene Prosser on September 3, 1971.
She is survived by her husband, Gary; sons, Jamey Prosser of Florahome, FL and Tim Prosser (Kathy) of Rochester, IL; daughter, Michelle Fisher (Donnie) of Shelbyville, IL; and four grandchildren, Derek Fisher of Shelbyville, IL, Drennen and Kenna Prosser of Shelbyville, IL and Delaney Prosser of Florahome, FL.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and brothers, Chester and Bobby Thrasher.
