Nancy K Lane

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville with Rev. Lee Lovett and Rev. Bruce Owens officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Sunday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville, Habitat for Humanity in Shelby County, Multiple Sclerosis Society or donor’s choice.
Nancy was born on February 4, 1940 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Earl D. and Alta M. George Riley. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1958 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville. Nancy will be remembered for her positive attitude, her sense of humor and for her love of her family and her church. She married Charles Lane on November 2, 1958.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; daughter, Jill Lewis and husband Randy of Mode; grandchildren, Abbey Lowe, Maggie Lewis and Tracy Schwenker; and great grandchildren, Jude Schwenker and Trey Brummer.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
